AUTHENTIC DESIGN
Focussing on colour and interior design to learn the art of colour consulting with Haymes Paint and completed training in 3D presentations for interiors and outdoor living.
To create an holistic package of home designing, more than the structure and technicalities of building, but also configuring the use and style of interior and outdoor living spaces.
FENG SHUI
Reading and balancing the energetics of a home with Feng Shui principles and an understanding of the individuals within the home. For a fourth year my studies and practice in Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology continued with my teachers, Master Michele Vos Castle and Renée Longworth.
My professional level Feng Shui studies in BaZi Chinese Astrology and Traditional Feng Shui compliment the other layers of design I bring to a project.
GREEN HOUSE, PINK LAKE
Tasked with helping organise the transformation of a house for a family who had a longing to return to a place of their own. Together we designed an alteration and addition of their basic weekender into a larger home with room for the whole family to enjoy for years to come. They now have their building contract signed and are eager to get it built! I love what I do!
GARDEN ROAD, PINK LAKE
A custom design high-performance home broke ground in January, and I had the joy of watching it taking shape throughout the year. With materials sourced for their energy performance and a project team chosen to pull together an ambitious construction of a passive house for my very close family. I am poised for the nature inspired interior fit-out to be revealed soon. And the enjoyment of visiting Mum in her designed space for comfort, healthy living and respect to the environment.
KENDALL ROAD, SCADDAN
Revisiting an heirloom home renovation and addition that was conceived a few years ago and is now settled into. Dan Paris Photography came along to capture the beauty of the revitalised country-chic farmhouse. This home was once home to my late grandparents (my Dad and his siblings were raised here) and also some of my favourite childhood memories originated in it. So to help this into being re-loved as a home again was a moment to cherish.
