A characterful home of their own

This small home was built on a lifestyle property on the outskirts of Esperance for my client to lead a self-sufficient lifestyle while caring for the land, soil, wildlife and even the local community with a market garden.

Inspired by past eras of handcrafted building techniques, textured urban cultural life and beauty in simplicity; the colour and materials palette for this build was moody, expressive and layered. Salvaged and recycled elements feature with timber windows, doors, industrial light fixtures and brick. Patterned metal, natural paint and burnished black oxide concrete create a warmth and character that is fitting for a rustic life in the landscape.
