Close to nature in a healthy house

A dream home build for a lifestyle of gardening and mechanical hobbies in Esperance. A house to accomodate connection with the land that’s comfortable and welcoming to guests and family whom the owners share an abundant enjoyment of their property with.

To create a nourishing and grounding home, Dwelling Design sought inspiration from the natural beauty surrounding the property; the aqua Blue Haven bay with granite outcrop, russet lichen and limestone reefs, the undulating dunes and green fields. Colours and materials chosen for each room support a smooth flow of relaxing energy through the interior spaces.

Here is an energy efficient design with passive heating and cooling principles and the need to operate with an off grid electricity supply and in a BAL-29 bushfire rated site. A heat recovery ventilation system maintains indoor air quality in an insulated building envelope, and internal thermal mass provides stable warmth throughout the home throughout winter. A dust free home is acheived because of HRV. The house exceeded the owners expectations for interior comfort.
